1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Takkn, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Takkn
Takkn is a private app for two people in a relationship to chat, call, share photos and memories, and stay connected.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (and at least the age required by the app stores) to use Takkn. Takkn is intended for adults.
4. Account and phone number login
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account.
5. Relationship and couple features
Takkn connects you with one partner. Content and activity you create are shared with your connected partner as part of how the app works.
6. User content
“User content” includes the messages, photos and other media, memories, and profile information you create or upload. You retain your rights in your content. You grant Takkn the limited rights needed to store, process, and deliver that content to you and your partner to operate the app.
7. Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or share, and you confirm you have the right to share it. Do not share content you do not have permission to use.
8. Prohibited behavior
You agree not to use Takkn to:
- harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person;
- share illegal content or use the app for unlawful purposes;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
- upload malware or harmful content;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
9. Reporting and support
If you experience abuse, a safety concern, or have a problem with content, contact us at support@takkn.app or via our Support page. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is scheduled immediately, remains recoverable for 30 days, and is then permanently processed or anonymized.
11. Service availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Takkn, and the app may experience downtime. We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
12. Third-party services
Takkn relies on third-party services for SMS, push notifications, media storage, and calling infrastructure. Their availability and performance are outside our control.
13. Premium and paid features
Takkn may introduce premium or paid features in the future. Any pricing and billing terms will be presented at that time. No subscription billing terms apply unless and until paid features are made available to you.
14. Disclaimers
Takkn is a communication and relationship app. It does not provide relationship, legal, medical, or professional advice, and should not be relied on as such.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Takkn and Love Veracity are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Takkn after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
